Wow!!! What an event!! I hope by now, everyone has made it home safely – that your MINIs and Minis have been cleaned up and are ready to go on their next adventure. The AMVIV Facebook Page has been jumping with all sorts of AMVIV posts and lots of wonderful pictures. If you’re not active on Facebook – an alternative for you to share your photos is through the AMVIV9 Group on Flickr. It’s a public group, so join up and share your AMVIV9 memories.
Before I get too deep into this I wanted to give a hearty THANK YOU to the vendors and sponsors that both came out to share the weekend with us, and those that couldn’t make it but sent us some great stuff to hand out to all the attendees. We truly appreciate your support, we hope you had a good time and successful experience! Sometimes they were swamped over the weekend. Other times they looked to be enjoying themselves while socializing with everyone. We’re very glad so many of them made it to the event – If you missed your chance to buy stuff – go check out their websites! Lots of great stuff to be had!!

The SCMC Booth will be opening in just a few short hours in 5B (Ground Zero), signaling the start of another great adventure. For you early birds, stop by and pick up your registration packets and goodie bags at 3pm. We’ve also got a Slots Tournament lined up for you at 7:30pm.
AMVIV9 rolls out for real at 8am Thursday morning. Rally up at the top of the parking garage for the 8am departure of the Oatman AZ Route 66 Fun Run. For the rest of the schedule, check out your eBook, or follow this link.

Of course, right after I uploaded it, we got another vendor – some guys that do wheel repairs. So I updated it. They just fixed some road rash on Neo, and I invited them along for the weekend. Look for them when you get here.
The AMVIV App “AMVIV9″ is up and running for iPhone and Droid users. Remember, if you’re tweeting about AMVIV, use the #amviv hash tag. The app will display those tweets 
GOT FLICKR? Then use it! There’s an AMVIV9 Group to upload your photos and share! Of course, there’s always Facebook.
Don’t forget how we do poker runs here at AMVIV – check your registration bag for your route – completed routes are due at the SCMC Booth no later than Saturday 2pm. If you have fun, you can do more than one – and you’ll better your chances. Top hand gets $75, other prizes too. You need to get in on this. Use the white board and get a group of you together to do one, even better!
Yes – the rumors are true. We’re doing a brew swap at AMVIV. Ours will be a little unorthodox for a brew swap, its true – but out here in the desert, you gotta play it loose and roll with it. It’ll be fun – do it!
Dunk tank at the Saturday Car Show!! Yeah… I got nominated. Evidently, someone has issues with me. I don’t believe it, either 
No idea when, but I’ll be in there. If you’ve got it in for me – here’s your chance.
What else can we tell you? Yes, we’ve got a real live crooner lined up for Saturday night – and a couple showgirls will be making an appearance over the weekend. Have you started loading up your MINI yet?
What should you bring with you? Let’s see… camera, extra memory cards, sunscreen, bathing suit, towel (never forget your towel folks), $5 bills for the dunk tank, brew for the brew swap, funds for the vendors, pajamas or a costume for The Pajama Strip Cruise, tunes for your trip out and back. That should get you started.

If you missed out on pre-registration, please come to the Motoring Midway on the 5th floor of the parking garage to the Sin City MINI Club booth and register. The registration fee will be $35. We will also have a very limited amount of AMVIV9 merchandise for sale.
Attendees who have pre-registered should expect to receive an email sometime in the next four days with a link to the AMVIV9 Event Booklet, an Adobe *.pdf file that can be downloaded and printed in whole or in part at your convenience. If you have not received this email by Wednesday June 6, or have any questions, please email me at president@sincityminiclub.com.

Also be advised – the official AMVIV app “AMVIV9″ should be rolling out in your app stores over the next few days for both iPhones and Droid phones, so start searching for it. We worked hard to get this out there for as many smart phones as possible this time around. As with all things in life – nothing is perfect. From what we understand there are some Droid phones that will still not be compatible with the app. If your phone does not fall in with the other 700 Droid-style phones it is set up for, we apologize – we did the best we could.

Chris (Commando/Evil Twin) has been working on an optional Nawghty Poker Run, and honestly we think he’s having far too much fun planning it! We will need feedback from anyone who does this run for the final wrap up notes on our event.

Conny and Lisa (Instigator/Evil Twin) took inventory of the AMVIV swag today!! What a great time opening boxes and seeing the great swag that was created with the art we received earlier from the artists that won our design contest. Big woot to Dee Motored – Simpson and Jessica Napier, our AMVIV9 winners.
Agro and Kathy (Coop) has finalized the details for the car show.
Rich (Mr. Loera) has rallied all of our volunteers and is getting them amped up to serve.
Minako (Diva) is all over the books, frankly this chick should be running a boot camp!!
