This incorporates the 4th annual AMVIV MINI Photography/Art Show. Cash bar. Saturday evening: 6:30pm - 10:00pm AMVIV7 Party hosted by White Roof Radio in the "Access Showroom" at Aliante Station. Cash bar, other details to come. Should be a FABULOUS evening! Sunday morning: 6:30am - 9:00am AMVIV7 farewell breakfast in the convention center near the hotel elevators at Aliante Station. Group DrivesThursday all day: 8:00am - 5:30pmClick Away at Calico. Head down to Barstow and visit the historic ghost town of Calico. Go down the mine, get an idea of how hard it was in pioneer days. Oh yeah, take part in the 1st official "Giant AMVIV Attendees Photo Shoot" in the parking lot at Calico. We'd like to meet up with all the California people driving in on Thursday to help us get a huge panoramic picture of lots of MINIs laid out to make pretty pictures and words. Thursday afternoon: 12:00pm - 5:30pm Brave the Valley of Fire. This is a longer, fun drive through some of the most spectacular scenery in the southwestern US. The roads are twisty and the rock formations are simply incredible. Pay your $6 park entry at the gate. Friday all day: 10:00am - 5:00pm Cheat Death Valley. Death Valley is the hottest\driest\lowest place in the US. A pioneer wagon train in Death Valley on the way to California was in deep trouble, but you can do it in a MINI train in almost perfect safety. Some wonderful scenery and fun swoopy roads on this run. Friday afternoon: 1:00pm - 4:00pm Red Rock Run. Motor to the incredible scenery of the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. The 13 mile scenic loop shows off some of the finest examples of accessible desert landscapes, flora and fauna in the southwest. Pay your $5 park entry at the gate. Friday evening: 8:30pm - 11:30pm Las Vegas Strip Cruise. This is the drive of the weekend. Imagine hundreds of MINIs under the neon of "The Strip". A truly incredible spectacle! Can we hit 300 this year? Please note a new staging point this year, check your event book for details. Saturday morning: 8:00am - 11:00am Motor Up Mount Charleston. With snow on the ground and a chill in the air, the run up the mountain offers fantastic views and the colder air that your MINI loves, and Deer Creek Road is wonderfully twisty. Please note that this route is different than in past years. Check your event book for details. Saturday morning: 11:00am - 2:00pm Aces High Poker Run - leaves from and ends at the Boot 'N' Bonnet Show. Must be back by 2:00pm. Prizes to be awarded at the White Roof Radio Live event on Saturday evening in the Access Showroom. Prizes need to be picked up by Sunday morning. Sunday morning: 9:00am - 12:00pm Mosey to Moapa Wildlife Refuge.

Vendor displays, parts and accessories sales, installs, mingling, ... Saturday: 7:00am - 4:00pm SCCA Autocross at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring parking lot. $25 coupon for 1st-time autocrossers here. Saturday: 8:00am - 5:00pm Boot 'N' Bonnet Show Day 3 at Aliante Station - top floor of the parking garage. Vendor displays, parts and accessories sales, installs, mingling, ... Saturday: 12:00pm - 4:00pm Show & Shine at Aliante Station to benefit SAFE House in Henderson. The annual car show with its associated prizes will be judged this year by MINI enthusiasts instead of the legal judges we had last year. There will be a $20 tax-deductible entry fee paid directly to SAFE House to enter your MINI into the contest. There will be no charge to come and look at the cars.
ExcursionsThursday: 9:30amThe Shelby Automobile Museum - you have heard of Carroll Shelby, the man behind the Shelby Cobra, Shelby Mustang and many other classic pieces of American muscle. The Shelby Museum takes you on a tour of the actual place where these cars are designed and built. It is a free tour starting and ending in the showroom containing some of Mr Shelby's personal collection. Friday: 10:30am Springs Preserve - The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre cultural institution designed to commemorate Las Vegas' dynamic history and to provide a vision for a sustainable future. The Preserve features museums, galleries, outdoor concerts and events, colorful botanical gardens and an interpretive trail system that meanders through a scenic wetland habitat.
Non AMVIV Vegas ActivitiesAt the Boulder City airport, WWII Warbird Rides will be operating, giving you the chance to take to the air (and take the stick) in an SNJ fighter plane.
